Executive Chairman of CICCC Long Yuxiang gave a warm welcome to Mr. Hideo Ohkubo and his accompanying colleagues. He said, as a prelude to the normalization of the diplomatic ties between the two countries, four decades ago, the then Foreign Minister of Japan Masayoshi Ohira accompanied Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka to visit China. It is a new turning point for the two to further their cooperation and deepen diplomatic ties. The anniversary of the normalization of the diplomatic relations between China and Japan is thought to be a great opportunity to host ‘Beautiful China Movement’ Sino-Japan Friendship Model Contest, as a bid to boost cultural exchanges and deepen friendship between people of two nations.
